1. Damdama Lake

Vintage Car Museum was established to explore the history of transportation in India. Home to about 250 species of native birds and over 190 migratory species, Sultanpur Bird Sanctuary is located in a low lying marshy area off Farukhnagar Gurgaon road.

7. Appu Ghar, Gurgaon

Appu Ghar was the first amusement park of the country, first opening it’s doors in 1984, commemorating the 1982 Asian Games. The lovable mascot of the games “Appu” was the mascot of the park. While it was running till 2008, it shut down temporarily and was reopened in Gurgaon in 2014. It’s the perfect way to spend a summer day, splashing around in the water park!

8. Oysters Beach Water Park

13. Aravalli Biodiversity Park

Expanding over 1.54 square kilometres, Aravalli Biodiversity Park was established to ecologically restore and preserve the vegetation on the desert and arid land areas in the region. It was opened on the occasion of World Environment Day in June 2010, after a Supreme Court Ban was implemented on stone mining in the region. The biodiversity park has about 160 plant species, over 170 species of birds and animals.

14. Sheetla Mata Mandir

Mata Sheetala is a Hindu goddess widely worshipped in North India, West Bengal, Nepal, Bangladesh and Pakistan as the pox-goddess. She is the Goddess of sores, ghouls, pustules and diseases in Hindu mythology.

15. Fun N Food Village, Gurgaon

Fun N Food Village is a stunning water park with the largest collection of water themed slides in the country. They have enough variety of exciting slides and pools to suit everyone’s preference ranging from lazy river, wave pool, family slide, the tornado aqua shoot, twister, multiline slide and speed coaster. 16. Leisure Valley Park

Leisure Valley Park is a pleasant green patch maintained amidst the concrete jungle. 23. Sai Ka Angan Temple

Dedicated to Sai Baba, Sai Ka Angan Temple expands over an area of 3344 square metres. The complex is built in the shape of a cave and has important aspects of Sai Baba’s life in Shirdi replicated in his memory. The idol of Sai Baba is installed under a Neem Tree and the place around it is lit with oil lamps. Hymns written for Baba are sung often while devotees can meditate and soak in the divine vibe of the temple complex.

Overlooking the posh neighborhood of Golf Course Road in Gurgaon, everything about Club Rhino is classy and urbane. NeverEnuf Garden Railway is an enchanting infotainment park with miniatures of all sorts including boats, trains, buildings and landscapes. 28. Tau Devi Lal Biodiversity Park

Tau Devi Lal Biodiversity Park is mostly used for recreational purposes. It has a walkway used most for morning or evening walks and jogs. Most areas of the two-acre park are decently maintained green patches including a rose garden with colourful and fragrant roses. The greenery attracts birds to some extent too, hence, it is quite preferred by bird watchers as well.

29. Qutub Khan’s Tomb

Qutub Khan’s Tomb is an 18th century structure built in the memory of Adam Khan who served as a general to Emperor Akbar. The tomb has a unique octagonal structure and is an illustration of Mughal architecture. In 1830, Blake, a British Officer chose to reside at the location and removed all the graves. The tomb was later restored by Lord Curzon after Blake’s death.

30. Museum of Folk & Tribal Art

Founded by a renowned painter, sculptor and a historian, K.C Aryan, the Museum of Folk & Tribal Art has a splendid collection of tribal handicrafts made of iron, wood & stone, embroidered fabrics, colourful murals and terracotta objects. Some artefacts with religious importance are also displayed at the museum. The complete collection gives a sneak peek into the culture and art of the tribal regions of Gurgaon.

31. Farrukh Nagar Fort

Farrukh Nagar Fort was established in 1732 by Faujdar Khan who served as a Governor to Emperor Farrukhsiyar. The town was famous for its salt trade till the British put a ban on it in the early 1900s. The rich cultural heritage of the town can be gauged by the presence of historically significant monuments like the Jama Masjid, the Sheesh Mahal, Sethani ki Chattri, several Havelis and the Sultanpur National Park which make it a famous tourist destination.

32. Amoeba

Amoeba Amusemet Club is situated in the premises of MGF Metropolitan Mall on MG Road in Gurgaon. The arena has umpteen digital and non-digital games including air-hockey, bowling alley etc.

33. Aapno Ghar

Situated on the NH8 Highway in Gurgaon, Aapno Ghar is a relatively new theme amusement park on the outskirts of the city. The park has several rides and thrilling activities for all age groups including Baby Train, Caterpillar, Mono-cycles, and Jet Plane etc.

Situated in Sector 14 in Gurgaon, Subhash Chandra Bose is a recreational park and green space to have a break from the clutter of the city. The park is ideal for jogging, outdoor games, yoga and other meditation activities.

Shopping in the Gurgaon city is a different experience as compared to other places. The local market houses shops for wooden handicrafts such as wooden boxes, gift boxes, wooden utensils, wooden toys, as well as furniture in Old Gurgaon.
